Cory graduated from Flagler College of St. Augustine, FL with a BFA in Graphic Design and an undeclared minor in Fine Art.

His abstract work is a reactive reflection of everyday life while encouraging the viewer to use their own stories and experiences to influence their subjective dialog with the work. The use and concept of layers has always been important to telling the story of each painting. Subtleties from past actions appear and hide simultaneously. The weight of each layer creates various textures which, in turn, aids in evoking various emotions.  While abstraction is a passion for Cory, he also finds it important to explore other styles of art. Experimenting with oil portraits, watercolor/gouache paintings of animals, cars and architecture, and most recently plein air painting prove to be an invaluable asset to his creative process.

Cory lives in northern New Jersey where he continues to create.
